Aintree Chiropody has been a family run clininic since 1998. We provide treatments to patients in a purpose built clinic to the standards expected in our profession. Emphasising on the hygienic and professional way it is managed on a daily basis. All sterilization of instruments and record keeping arer undertaken onsite keeping you safe knowing infection control is paramount in our treatments we provide.

The treatment provided is in a clean and friendly atmosphere instantly providing reassurance for the patients. As we are HCPC registered podiatrists we treat the full range of common foot problems, from onychocryptosis(Ingrown Toenails) to onychomycosis(Fungal Nails).

We also know our own limitations when presented with certain foot conditions not to have any reservations in referring a patient to their local GP for further investigation. Domiciliary is part of the service we offer to patients who cannot attend the clinic for various reasons. We provide a service to elderly patients at i.e. Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Sheltered Accommodation, and Private Patients at Local Hospitals.

The current premises are situated on the Altway Parade of shops, but we are now in new premises that are located at ground level for easier access.

(1998 – 2004)

First opened in Altway the Clinic was situated above the Newsagent. The initial location had difficulties with access as there was steep stairs to navigate. The clinic was set up in 1998.

My Qualifications

I qualified as a podiatrist after three years studying at the University of Salford with extensive NHS training.

Full Degree Level Trained at the University of Salford.

New Regulations

Please be aware that new regulations have been implemented within the chiropody/ podiatry profession. These regulations are for the protection of you, the patient.
The title chiropodist/podiatrist is now a protected title. This means that any person practicing as a chiropodist/podiatrist, must be registered with, or have applied by July 2005 to be registered with, the new Health Professions Council (HPC), which came into effect on the 9 July 2003.
